EDENTON, NC – Opportunities abound as the Music & Water Festival finalizes its activities and gets things rolling providing visitors and residents a chance to get on the water either in a boat or kayak at no cost.
Friday Sunset Paddle……
Launch from Queen Anne Park at 6:30 pm and wind down with lite refreshments. If in need of a kayak, one can be reserved by contacting 252-482-0300 or 800-775-0111 ahead of time – registration/waiver forms online
Saturday Colonial Park 10 am – 5 pm……
- Food Trucks and Arts and Crafts Vendors to please all tastes
- Musical Talent on the Waterfront Stage
- Adam Nixon – Uphill Band (blues); Drunken Confessions (rock); Quentin Parker (solo singer – songwriter); Feuston Brothers (mellow & reggae rock); Old Fish Hatchery Records (original acoustic/electronic blend); Connected (jazz)
- Kitty Hawk Kites featuring on and off the water equipment to try for all ages and the KHK Climbing Wall for the adventurous
- Painting at the Lighthouse – 10:30, 12:30, 2:30
Beautiful colors will make your canvas come to life; kids in grades 2nd – 5th will paint the Edenton Teapot on a 9x12 canvas.
Sign-up at the information tent the day of the event on a first come, first serve basis sponsored by Chowan Arts Council
- Touring of the Lighthouse for all ages
- Face Painting with everyone’s Fav Sheila……….
- Complimentary Boat Rides 12 – 3 pm – cruising
- Paddling of all kinds for all ages 10 am – 5 pm
So whether you like - paddling, touring, singing, listening, watching, crafts, eating, cruising, or making memories, there is something for all ages to enjoy in Edenton.
