A snappy salute to you and our neighbors here on the Outer Banks who have stepped forward to make this Memorial Day truly memorable for eight US veterans. I was so happy to have been invited by Captain Ron to make up welcome cards that could be signed by all participants in this worthy effort. As a veteran myself (USAF) I'm so proud of what you and others in our community have done.
